Open to middle school teachers in Chicago and the metropolitan area, this institute is designed to give teachers the tools to enable students to develop a comprehensive understanding of the Constitution and Bill of Rights in order to meet the U.S. Constitution Test requirement. This national training institute for 2nd - 5th grade teachers in Chicago features CRFC's newly re-releasedVOICE (Violence Prevention Outcomes in Civic Education) and Primary VOICE curriculum. VOICE combines law, peer mediation, and service learning, while Primary VOICE, an extension of VOICE, enhances reading comprehension and citizenship among younger students.
