More Perfect Union Institute

A PROGRAM FOR 7TH AND 8TH GRADE TEACHERS WHO ADMINISTER THE U.S. CONSTITUTION TEST

The More Perfect Union Institute familiarizes middle school teachers with CRFC's More Perfect Union curriculum.  The More Perfect Union curriculum is created for teachers who administer the U.S. Constitution Test to their 7th or 8th grade students. The activities provided in this curriculum help prepare students for the Constitution Test and deepen and reinforce their knowledge of our system of government. The dynamic lessons and strategies show students how the Constitution applies to their lives and help them gain the skills and attitudes necessary to become active and engaged citizens. The curriculum contains extended response questions and a bank of alternative assessments. Attendees to this institute receive 12 CPDUs.

Teachers attending the 2-day More Perfect Union Summer Institute are eligible to receive an attorney partner as part of the Edward J. Lewis II Lawyers in the Classroom Program.
