Customized Professional Development Programs

CRFC provides customized professional development programs for schools and districts interested in enhancing civic learning instruction and content. CRFC combines information on current and historic issues in law and public policy with interactive methods and classroom strategies. Topics include:

  • Models for Classroom Discussion
  • Public Policy and Problem-Based Learning
  • Law in American Society
  • Law in American History
  • Using Supreme Court Cases

CRFC will design in-service workshops, day-long training, and multi-session seminars for groups of teachers at the primary, elementary, middle, and high school levels. CRFC also provides consultation on the design and implementation of courses in law, civics, and government.
