2013 Illinois Youth Summit
2013 Illinois Youth Summit
The Illinois Youth Summit creates awareness and fosters civic action on current policy issues of importance to students and their communities. In this semester-long program, students select three public policies for study, conduct polling, develop related service projects, and post position statements using CRFC developed materials. The program culminates with student delegates and policymakers before a Town Hall Meeting on the issues.
Registration for this school year program includes participation for a teacher and student delegates to participate on the dates below, as well as class curriculum and program support from CRFC.
This year's important dates are:
November 9, 2012 - program registration deadline
